The 22:27 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth is re-timed to depart at 22:30. (Monday to Wednesday)
The 23:40 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth will be replaced by a bus throughout.

The 10:27 Swansea to Carmarthen service will not run. It will be replaced by earlier road transport which will depart Swansea at 10:00, calling at Llanelli, Pembrey & Burry Port and Carmarthen. It is expected to arrive at Carmarthen for 11:12.
The 11:25 Carmarthen to London Paddington service will start from Swansea. Road transport will depart Carmarthen at 11:56, calling at Pembrey & Burry Port, Llanelli and Swansea. It is expected to arrive at Swansea for 13:13. This will allow customers requiring stations to London Paddington to connect with the 13:23 Swansea to London Paddington service.

Engineering work is taking place in the Swansea / Carmarthen area, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Monday to Thursday:
The 23:20 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen service will terminate at Swansea. A replacement bus will run from Swansea to Carmarthen.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 04:38 Carmarthen to Swansea service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
The 04:47 Carmarthen to Shrewsbury service will be amended to start from Swansea at 04:52. A replacement bus will run earlier from Carmarthen at 04:15 to Llanelli, connecting with the train.

- The 04:46 Carmarthen to Shrewsbury will start from Llanelli at 05:12. Road replacement transport will run from Carmarthen to Llanelli

Engineering work is taking place between Shrewsbury and Chester via Gobowen, closing all lines.
Trains between Shrewsbury and Chester via Gobowen will be diverted via Crewe extending journey times. The local stopping services will not run between these stations with some long distance services calling at additional stops. A supplementary rail replacement service will run between Shrewsbury and Crewe.
No trains will run between Shrewsbury and Wrexham General, a rail replacement bus service will run between Shrewsbury and Chester via Gobowen.

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Radyr via Ninian Park, closing all lines until 12:00.
Services between Cardiff Central and Radyr will be diverted to run via Cardiff Queen Street, calling additionally at Cardiff Queen Street, Cathays and Llandaf.

Engineering work is taking place at Swansea, closing all lines.
Great Western Railway:
Rail replacement buses will operate between Port Talbot Parkway and Swansea, calling at Neath. Some buses will operate to / from Llanelli.
Most trains between London Paddington and Swansea / Carmarthen will run between London Paddington and Port Talbot Parkway only.
Transport for Wales:
Rail replacement buses will operate between Port Talbot Parkway and Llanelli.
A limited service will operate between Cardiff Central and Carmarthen via Llangennech in the mornings and late evenings.
Most trains between Manchester Piccadilly / Cardiff Central and Swansea / Carmarthen will run between Manchester Piccadilly / Cardiff Central and Port Talbot Parkway only.
Two trains per hour will operate from Llanelli to Carmarthen / Pembroke Dock / Milford Haven / Fishguard Harbour.
Services between Shrewsbury and Swansea via Llandrindod will be diverted to run via Carmarthen.
Please note that on Tuesday 27 January, northbound Heart of Wales services will be further amended due to additional engineering works near Llanelli.

This bus will call at Newport (South Wales) to pick up passengers only. Passengers from Cardiff Central wanting to travel to Newport (South Wales) should use the 22:21 service to Crewe.
The 22:09 Maesteg to Ebbw Vale Town service will terminate at Cardiff Central. A rail replacement bus will operate from Cardiff Central to Ebbw Vale Town, departing from Cardiff Central at 23:15.
