Overview

Serving the Welsh town of Caerphilly since 1871, this station sees almost one million passengers annually. It’s located on the Rhymney line of the Valley Lines network, once the historic Rhymney Railway. It’s gone through several updates over the years. Once a busy junction, the station was rebuilt to two platforms with a bus interchange in 1970. A third platform was added in 2013.
